World Post Day, celebrated on October 9, marks the anniversary of the founding of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) in 1874 and highlights the pivotal role of postal services in connecting people and serving communities worldwide.
This year’s theme, #PostForPeople: Local Service. Global Reach., underscores the contribution of postal services as a vital communication infrastructure with global reach and local presence.
The Hellenic Authority for Communication Security and Privacy (ADAE) participated in the 28th Universal Postal Congress, held in Dubai from 8 to 19 September 2025, where the strategic priorities of the postal sector for the next four years were defined.
In line with its mission, ADAE emphasizes the enduring value of the postal sector as a pillar of confidentiality, security and protection of the privacy of communications.
